How to Use the Hour Grid as a Global Team Scheduler
Use the hour grid as a global team scheduler: spot overlapping daytime hours before you send the calendar invite.
Start with every participant's city
Add each office or teammate city first. Set your home city with the star so alignment labels stay anchored to the place you are coordinating from.
Prefer shared daytime, not shared “availability guilt”
Scan for columns where most rows sit in the day band. A short overlap that is kind to everyone beats a long meeting that forces someone into late night.
Pin the candidate hour
Click an hour to pin it. The maroon outline keeps that column visible while you scroll and double-check dates across midnight.
Watch DST weeks
When the US, Europe, or other regions change clocks on different weekends, re-check the grid before recurring meetings. It's World O'Clock follows IANA rules, but habits lag behind the calendar.
Name the time in two places
In invites, write both the host local time and at least one other key city (for example, “3:00 PM Manila / 8:00 AM London”). The pin on the home page makes that wording easy to copy mentally.
